Um dos pontos fortes do Pedal na Estrada são as fotos. Em poucos meses de viagem o site já contava com mais de mil fotografias e elas continuam surgindo nos albuns na medida que novos lugares e pessoas surgem pelo caminho. Resolvi então selecionar algumas poucas delas e disponibilizá-las em maior resolução, no tamanho de um postal na realidade.
As fotos te darão a possibilidade de ver algumas paisagens e momentos que marcaram esta jornada mais de perto.

The photos have a nice space in this trip, simply because the photos don't have language and most of the times can?tell the history of the moment that I'm living. Logo no início desta viagem, ainda no Brasil, eu me deparei com este portão no meio de uma estrada. Parei. Estacionei a bicicleta e saquei uma foto. Seguir meus sonhos era preciso e eu estava apenas começando.

O primeiro país depois do Brasil foi o Paraguai. Não havia muita coisa para se ver nesse país, mas ele foi a minha porta de saída para o mundo. No meio da planície do país eu tive a oportunidade de ver este pôr-do-Sol enquanto pedalava. Fez o Paraguai ficar mais bonito

At the beggining of this trip, in Brazil, I saw one big gate in the middle of?a road. So I stopped, park the bike and took a photo. The gate says: "Follow your Dreams". Was the right?time to do it.

The firt country after Brazil?was Paraguay. There is not much to see there, however this was my door the the world. In the middle of that flat lands I had the opportunity to see this sunset. Made the country more beautiful to me.

?Na Argentina eu tive o meu primeiro contato com a altitude. Aos 4.200 metros eu encontrei os nativos argentinos vivendo a mesma vida que tinha há milhares de anos.

Ainda bem alto, a cerca de 3.900 metros de altitude, eu encontrei o Lago Titicaca e não me?contentei em ficar apenas nas margens. Entrei nele. Na parte?boliviana do lago encontrei ilhas e?estas pessoas vivendo nelas, isoladas do resto do mundo.

?In Argentina I had my first contact with high altitude. I was at?4.200 meters high when I found this native people living the same life as thousands years ago.

?Around 3.900 meters high, I found the Titikaka Lake and decided to enter in it. In the Bolivian side of the lake I saw this?people living in the island far from the rest of the world.

?Sem dúvida, uma das fotos que mais me agrada. Ao pedalar pelo deserto peruano, depois de centenas de quilômetros de paisagem cinza eu vi um ponto verde no horizonte. Parei alí, saquei esta foto e o apelide de "pequeno oasis".

Depois da América?do Sul?a mudança foi drástica: Nova Zelândia. Em meus primeiros dias no país eu tomei um barco para a Waiheke Island, situada a frente de Auckland. Era final da tarde e a paisagem?era essa que você vê aqui.?

?I really like this picture. When I was cycling through the Peruvian desert after hundreds kms of grey landscape I saw one green point on the horizon. So, I stopped, took this photo and call it "little oasis".

After South America?lots of things changed, I?went to New Zealand.?During my first days there?I took a boat to Waiheke Island, in front of Auckland. The sun was setting and the view you can see here.?

Pedalei na Nova Zelândia até a ilha sul,?a mais impressionante. Logo cheguei?em Kaikoura, que tinha uma paisagem única, com?casas à beira do mar de um lado e as montanhas nevadas do outro. ?

A Austrália ainda mora no meu coração. Ao pedalar pela costa do país eu percebi que tinha que conhecer o seus famoso deserto vermelho.?Fui para lá. E aqui está o coração da?Austrália.?

?I cycle in New Zealand till the South Island, the out-stunning one. Soon I arrive in Kaikoura, where I saw a?amazing landscape, with houses in front of the sea at one side and the iced mountains at the other.

Australia?lives in my heart. Cycling through the coast of this big country I decided to go to the famous?Red Desert. So I went there. And here is the photo of the heart of Australia.

Outro?choque ocorreu?ao entrar na ?sia pelas portas?indonésias.?Demorei a me adaptar, mas?pude ver paisagens incríveis, como esta: o?vulcão Bromo e seus companheiro num solo quase lunar.?

?A Malásia foi uma ótima surpresa em meu caminho. Um país incrível, com pessoas incríveis. Num final de tarde em Kuala Lumpur, perdido nas ruas da cidade, eu vi este incrível pôr-do-sol que dava vida às delicadas linhas desta mesquita.

?Another impact happened when I entered in Asia through the doors of Indonesia. Took me?time to get used the the new reality, but I saw amazing landscapes, like this one: the Bromo volcano and his mates on a moon-like ground.

Malaysia was a great surprise on my way. A?amazing country, with amazing people.?When in Kuala Lumpur, lost in the street of this big city, I?saw this incredible sunset giving life to the?beautiful lines of this Mosque.?

?Da Tailândia pedalei até o Camboja, que me mostrou como uma realidade sofrida, das pessoas que ainda têm cicatrizes das batalhas passadas. A pior estrada onde já pedalei também estava lá e esta garota e sua bicicleta nela.

O Laos veio logo em seguida e foi perfeito. O Laos é quieto, amistoso e tranqüilo. Parece?sempre estar de férias.?O?rio Mekong é parte da cultura do país e eu tive que atravessá-lo algumas vezes.?Esta foi a primeira travessia.?

From Thailand I cycled till Cambodia, where I saw a poor and sad reality, with the people that till today can not forget?the dark past of the country. The worst road that I cycled?was also there, where I saw?this girl with her bicycle.

Laos?came next and was perfect. Laos is quiet, friendly and calm. Look like it's always on vacation. The Mekong river is part of the country and I had to cross it a few times. This was the first one.?

?Raramente eu apareço numa foto, mas esta foi especial. Debaixo de um sol de 40 graus eu estava cansado e sujo depois de uma longa pedalada no Laos. Era mais uma vitória comemorada apenas por mim.

Mianmar é um país mágico e revoltante, se?é que isso pode existir. As pessoas mais doces do mundo e?os templos budistas em ouro fazem?deste?fechado país algo magnífico, porém o governo complica a situação. Mesmo assim ele não foi capaz de tirar as cores deste incrível pôr-do-sol em Yangon.?

?Hardly you can see me on a picture, but this was special. Under a 40 degrees sun, I was tired and dirt after a long way in Laos. That was one more victory celebrated just by myself.

?Myanmar is a magic and revolting country, if this can exist. The sweetest people on Earth and the buddhist stupa built with gold make this closed country just amazing, but the government make the things a bit harder. However, it wasn't able to steal the colours of this stunning sunset in Yangon.
